Radjoni O-dnevnik: 14. Post&Telecom Cup

Last weekend I was on Dvcibare near Valjevo to take a part in 14th Post&Telecom Cup. We stayed in the same house as we did last year.

First day was National Cup race, long distance 6800 meters, 260 m climb and 13 control points. I started very carefully, trying to get in the map, because it didn't run with map for a month. I had some problems with running from 3rd to 5th control. Made mistake on 8th, bad route choice from 9th to 10th and from 14th to 15th, small mistake on 19th. My time was 68:59, less than 4 minutes behind the first, and 3rd place that day.

Second day was also long distance 7300/250/21 and it was raining whole night and day. On 2nd contrlol I made mistake and fell on my back into a ditch with water, so if I didn't get wet of rain then I was soaking wet :). I went too much right toward 4th, and very bad route choice toward 5th and 6th control. On the 8th I needlesly went on the first road on the right (not on the second according to gps track) insted going direct on control, but I think it wasn't at the right place. I made some mistakes on 9th, 12th and 20th control and bad route choice toward 18th control. I won 4th place 2 minutes behind the winner and just 5 seconds behind the third. My time was 88:11 minutes.

Overall result was count as a sum of both days and I took 2nd place, 4 minute behind the winner! Not so bad, but it must be better :)

2-1-3-1 that is my plan.. :)
